Fire erupted in engine room of general cargo ship Fortuner, anchored at Gresik Port anchorage, Indonesia, at around 1630 LT Jan 12. The ship in ballast was waiting for berth, to load cargo of cement. As can be seen on photos, fire spread to superstructure. All 17 crew were evacuated, fire tugs and boats responded, but several hours after fire broke out, it wasn’t yet under control.
