Container ship KMTC SHENZHEN reported fire on board, in several containers, at around 0130 LT Aug 13, some 8 nm off port of destination, Port Klang. As of 1120 LT (UTC +8) the ship was adrift, surrounded by tugs and emergency vessels, ship’s AIS is on. Fire most probably, started earlier, the ship approached Port Klang at around noon Aug 12, and was slowly cruising around, probably waiting for berth. She arrived from Hong Kong. Judging from available pic, fore deck stacked containers are on fire.
